Queenscliff GC legends are still putting on a show 👏
Back in 1993, Tommy Warren held our course record with a blistering 69 off the stick.
On Saturday — at 74 years old — Tommy fired an outstanding 73 off the stick, playing off a handicap of 4 and closing in on 60 years as a QGC member. On nett terms, that puts him at 69 — equal to his course record. Remarkable golf and remarkable loyalty.
And the inspiration didn’t stop there. Fellow club legend, Bob Merriman, aged 90, posted 91 off the stick off a daily handicap of 20, giving him a nett 71 — one under par (72). Age is clearly just a number at QGC!
Here’s to the members who keep raising the bar and showing us all how it’s done. 💚⛳️
