We’re thrilled to share some exciting news — member and Club Champion Cruze Strange has officially qualified for the 2026 Vic Open, being played at 13th Beach Golf Links, 15-18 January.
Cruze secured his wildcard entry today at Curlewis in the qualifying round, finishing even with two other players after 18 holes, then going on to cinch the win on the second hole of the playoff. A fantastic achievement! View the results here.
On behalf of everyone at Queenscliff Golf Club, we extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to Cruze as he steps into one of the state’s premier tournaments.
The player draw will be announced tomorrow (Tuesday 13 January) on golf.com.au — and we encourage members to head over to 13th Beach this weekend to cheer Cruze on as he flies the Queenscliff flag on the big stage.
